Preheat to 350

In a Cast Iron Skillet Saute on Medium
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 large onion, diced
2 teaspoons kosher salt

Add Then Saute Some More
5 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Add Then Saute Until Almost Browned and Crumbled
2 pounds ground beef
1 bay leaves

Add Then Saute Some More
1 rounded tablespoon tomato paste
4 cloves garlic, minced

Add Then Saute Some More
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp Banana ketchup (or other fruit chutney type thing)

Soak 3 slices white bread (crusts removed) in 1/2 cup of milk. Squeeze the excess milk out then and to pan. Break it up and mix it in. Flatten surface.

Add 1 cup of milk to the bowl with the squeezed out milk, whisk in 2 eggs, dash of cayenne and pinch of salt. Pour gently over beef mix. Bake for 45 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
