No Spread Sugar Cookies

1 lb butter cool, not room temperature
2 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs cold
1 tablespoon vanilla check below for customizable options and tips for the vanilla
6 cups all purpose flour

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, add your cool unsalted butter, sugar, and salt.

Turn your mixer on the lowest speed available. Mix just until it starts to incorporate.

Add the 2 cold eggs and the vanilla.

Turn your mixer on to the lowest speed and mix just until the eggs and vanilla have incorporated into the butter and sugar.

Add the flour to your butter, sugar. Once more, turn your mixer on to the lowest setting, and mix until it kind of come together.

Hand knead to get it fully mixed. (Maybe try the dough hook)

Take 1/4 of your dough, and roll it to 1/4 inch thickness.

Cut shapes and bake in your preheated oven for 10-14 minutes.
